damdam: BONSOIR JE SUIS DAMDAM HA HA
Daniel:
damdam: and welcome to this lesson about
damdam: confusion ~('.'~)
Mr_Metro: I'm confused
Daniel:
damdam: so it work
damdam: my job is done
Mr_Metro claps
damdam: Using confusion for hypnosis may sound like a strange idea
damdam: but
damdam: If you look at people when they are confused, you'll see they are highly focused.
damdam: and it's something important in hypnosis
damdam: am i right?
Daniel: for sure
Daniel has trouble focusing
Mr_Metro: Agreed
Naömchen: True
chloroform_sleep: i reckon so
Bella: Yup
damdam: But why should being confused make you more suggestible?
Mr_Metro: Mostly when I get confused i want to read the sentence again
damdam: the principle of confusion is while the conscious is busy (seeking the meaning of the sentence), you can take advantage of this open door to the unconscious to place one or more direct suggestions
damdam: Being confused is like drowning in a sea of communication. You will grab onto anything that will keep you afloat
damdam: Any words or phrases that you can make sense of in the chaos are more effective and stronger than usual
damdam: an example?
damdam: ‘Now the part of you that is apart from the part listening to my voice… can just begin to relax…’
damdam: I have done two things.
damdam: I have used a confusing sentence followed by a very clear suggestion.
damdam: You might not respond to a single clear suggestion following confusion
damdam: but if I am beginning to use more of these types of sentences
damdam: your unconscious mind is basically getting the suggestion pattern of relaxing, while your conscious mind is tied up with trying to understand what on earth I said.
damdam: any questions so far?
Daniel: not from me
Mr_Metro: Please continue ^^
damdam: Certain phrases are very attention grabbing
damdam: . If you can use an attention grabbing phrase followed by a confusion sentence
damdam: your subject will be even more focused
damdam: that's the goal
damdam: i finish with theory i admit
damdam: the fact in confusion is not the theory, it is the practice
damdam: and it depend a lot on the other
damdam: because something confusing for you may not be for the other
damdam: i will make a quick test
damdam: Whats up is down, reverse is inverse. Quite it quiet, sight to light it. Movement left, direction right. Careful dice. Roll so precise.
damdam: how many was focused on this question and reread word by word?
Daniel: I definitely was
Me: me!
Daniel: looking for some sort of pattern
Bella was
Mr_Metro: I did
Mr_Metro: Though I already felt dizzy at Quite it quiet
damdam: i have worse, metro
Naömchen: I read it
Naömchen: but slowly
Naömchen: I still can't remember a single sentence from it though xD
Naömchen: I can't even paraphrase it
Naömchen: It just flew from my mind as if I never even read it
Naömchen: but I can still remember that I read it
Naömchen: kinda..
damdam: and not the others it seems
damdam: you see that's a good example to show not everyone is touched by it
damdam: and if just after i say relax
damdam: the word was more simple
Naömchen: Yeah
Naömchen:
damdam: and everybody will be more impacted by it if i just said that after my sentence, am i right?
Daniel nods.
Daniel: it's something I can understand
Me: Yes I guess
Bella: Yeah
damdam: after you have other type of confusion
damdam: i show you a complicated sentence
damdam: but you can confuse someone else differently
damdam: like daniel
damdam: you was there and now you are here am i right?
Daniel: I was there?
damdam: yeah there
Daniel: there where?
damdam: but you are here no?
Daniel: I am here
damdam: or maybe there
damdam: where are you? there or here?
Daniel: I am confused
damdam:
damdam: after to tell i continue doing like this
damdam: i say relax focus
damdam: there or here
Naömchen: Not gonna lie
Naömchen: I'm so gonna steal this technique
damdam: and in the end i ask you want to know where you are
damdam: i answer in a deep relaxing trance
Daniel: oh nice
Daniel: tell them exactly where they are
damdam: and noami this technique is ©
Mr_Metro: They do not know where they are giving you the moment to say where they are
damdam: yeah ^^
damdam: anybody have questions?
Daniel: not so far
Mr_Metro: So for me certain words and sentences turned questions can confuse me
Mr_Metro: Even though they are not questions
Mr_Metro: I feel like the person wants something from me
Mr_Metro: But I can not find the answer, and thus it confuses me
damdam: that's why communication is important
Me: yes! doese the trance is as deep as with the usual way?
Me: I mean, when you're moving your hand in front of the person for example
damdam: good question
Naömchen: sHIT i can't do it
Naömchen: xD
damdam: the thing is the subject is lost with your induction
damdam: and your deepening you lost them into the deepest part of their mind
damdam: they will lose themselves
damdam: i was clear?
Me: so the more they are lost, the deeper they are? right?
damdam:
damdam: it depends on how you guide them
damdam: that's the thing
damdam: i will tell you
damdam: after a normal confusion induction
damdam: i choose a staircase deepening
damdam: so they will not be lost
damdam: they will feel safe
damdam: and after 9
damdam: you can say 0
damdam: they are confused right at this moment
damdam: and will fall deep quickly because of the surprise
damdam: that is also confusion
damdam: doing something unexpected at the right moment
damdam: you tell me if i'm not clear
Me: Ok I see, so they must be lost, but feel safe because you're guiding them, You must do the both thing at the right level?
damdam: of course
damdam: trust is primordial
damdam: between tist and subject
Me: yes I guess
damdam: so that's why they will not be scared to be lost if you are still with them
Me: and they easily let you tell them what to do, right?
damdam: yeah
damdam: the lesson is over
Me: ok, thank you^^
damdam: now i will answer all the question
Mr_Metro: Thanks
Mr_Metro: Let me know if I understand it all right
damdam: yeah
Mr_Metro: Confusion induction here is shown as a way to break expectations, which will result in people not knowing how to reach, what to do.
Mr_Metro: Making them feel lost in a sense, and with them not longer knowing how to react, you tell them instead
Mr_Metro: Sending the as the only option for the mind to take a subconscious command
damdam: exactly
damdam: when you are lost
damdam: you are more receptive to logic reassuring things
Mr_Metro: So you explain you do not want a person to be completely lost
damdam: it's not that
damdam: they are lost
damdam: they don't know where they are
damdam: the tist knows
Mr_Metro: Aah gotcha
Mr_Metro: And you fill it in again, so that they are no longer "lost"
Mr_Metro: But they just accepted your command to be the way
damdam: after that it's up to you
Naömchen: Thanks for the lesson, dam c: <3
Daniel: yes, thank you
Me: Yes, ty and bye!
damdam: thanks to you and bye
chloroform_sleep: thanks dam dam
